About Somali Cancer Foundation
Our Mission
To support cancer awareness, patient guidance, family support and community action in Somalia.
Our Vision
A Somalia where people affected by cancer receive awareness, compassion, dignity and hope.
Our Purpose
The Somali Cancer Foundation is established as a dedicated civic forum to organize efforts against cancer nationwide. The foundation actively supports cancer awareness campaigns and works tirelessly to connect patients, survivors, and concerned families with helpful clinical guidance, emotional support, and coordinates with available resources in local hospitals and healthcare centers. We believe that building early detection awareness saves lives in any community.
Our Values
The core guidelines that direct every program we coordinate in Somalia.
Compassion
Empathizing and caring for patients throughout their full therapeutic journey.
Dignity
Ensuring every single medical beneficiary feels respected and valued.
Transparency
Upholding honesty, responsibility, and openness in all of our communications.
Hope
Fostering optimism, positivity, and resilience in every cancer campaign.
Collaboration
Working hand-in-hand with clinical doctors, health clinics, and civic leaders.
Supporting Somali Communities Collectively
By focusing on high-impact public events and printing educational guides on breast cancer, cervical cancer, and childhood oncology, we can alter path narratives. We coordinate with public volunteers and donors to scale up regional activities and enable more families in Somalia to get access to early screening guidelines.
